She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold R. Thomas and Ernestine Birdsong Thomas; and her brother Walter Harold "Buck" Thomas. She is survived by: her son Jesse; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Bond of Bogart; her sister Kay; her brother-in-law Bernard Garrett of Bogart; her grandchildren, Garrett Bond, Emmaleigh Bond and Kaleigh Bond; her nephews, Allen, Simon and Eli Garrett; and her niece Katie McClure.
