He is survived by: his parent Hazel Chastain Scroggs; his siblings, Patricia "Pat" Turner, Bobby Abernathy and Terry Lee Simmons; and also, Johnny Scroggs of Eastanollee, Shelia Scroggs of Eastanollee, Jake Simmons of Eastanollee, Dennis Scroggs of Eastanollee, Michael Simmons, Debra Simmons of Mt, Sandra Molinaro of Demorest, Rebecca Spencer of Lavonia, Libby Simmons, David Simmons of Toccoa, Deborah Crewe and David Crewe of Royston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
