She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James VanDover and Ruth VanDover; her significant other Norman Lindsey; her sons, Lindsey Alan Lindsey of Decatur and Lincoln A. Lindsey (Catherine) of Comer; her grandchildren, Sally, Oliver, Danny, Leslie and Claire; and her sister Mary Weisenburg. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
In her honor and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation or Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST, Athens, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
