She was predeceased by: her parents, R. H. Sanders and Janie Sorrow Sanders; her husband Lawrence Steed Parker; her daughter Patricia Parker; and her brothers, Jerry and Melvin Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Dove (Cynthia) and Sandra Griffeth (Wayne); her siblings, Rachel Atkins and Lewis Sanders (Harriet); and her grandchildren, Christopher Dove, Chasity Dove, Lora Whitmire, Kelly Brown and Vince Griffeth. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
