She is survived by: her parent Mable Honey Helms; her husband Larry Scruggs; her children, Timothy Scruggs and Brenda Scruggs; her sons-in-law, Kay Elrod, Danny Elrod of Toccoa, Sheila Arms and Micheal Arms of Anderson, S. C.; her grandchildren, Daniel Elrod, Kayla Elrod, Kathryn Wilbanks, Daniel Wilbanks, Chris Arms, Matthew Woods and Danielle Steele; her brother Kenneth Helms of Gaston; and also LaDon Helms of Gaston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
