He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Willard Fortner, Sr. and Lena Maxwell Fortner. He is survived by: his wife Della Woods Fortner; his children, Daniel Fortner (June), Anthony Fortner (Leah) and LaDonna Warner (Chad); and his siblings, Loretta Lillard, James Fortner, Lavoy Fortner, Mike Fortner, Darlene Frazier and Gary Fortner. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
