He is survived by: his wife Ida Faye Alexander Pitts; his daughter Deborah; his son-in-law Chester Meeks; his granddaughters, Chesnee Dorsey (Danny) and Bryson Crawford (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Madison, Brayden Crawford and Drew Dorsey; his siblings, Jackson (Ruth Pitts), Sadie (Terry Metcalfe), Ollie Wood, Jimmy (Liz Pitts) and Mary Kesler (Terry Pitts); and his sister-in-law Janet Pitts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Pointe, 111 Fieldcrest Drive, Eastanollee, Georgia 30538 in memory of Mr. Charlie Sherman Pitts.
