It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Vernie Bearden Turpin of Stephens, Georgia, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Abel Bearden and Vernie Martha Bearden; her husband Jack Turpin; and her siblings, Cecil Bearden and Thelma Long.
She is survived by: her daughter Denese; her son-in-law Joel May of Toccoa; her sons, Cregg Turpin of Toccoa, Anthony Turpin of Toccoa and Leroy; her daughter-in-law Melissa Turpin of Franklin; and her sisters, Linda Mae Bohannon of Toccoa and Joann Brown of Toccoa.
