He was predeceased by: his brothers, Edward and Lamar Cheek. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Quinn Cheek; his daughters, Krystal (Jackie Dickerson), Georgia (Dawn Kave) and Virginia; his stepdaughters, Sara Livingston of Pelion and Sabrina Odum of Pelion; his sister-in-law Sharon Cheek of Toccoa; and his sisters, Jean Strickland of Lavonia and Jewell Whitmire of Toccoa. He is also survived by four grandchildren, brother.
