He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Jackson Shipley, Jr. and Mary Kidd Shipley; his siblings, Benjamin Jackson Shipley III and Linda Shipley Boggs; and his grandson Eric Shipley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Shipley; and his children, David Shipley (Christine), Daniel Shipley, Joseph Shipley (Cynthia), Ronald Shipley, Stephen Faber (Cheri), Gretchen Faber (Lee) and Kristen Faber. He is also survived by 6 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 1 great-granddaughter.
