He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen Lynn Kapke Dabbs; his daughter Jennifer Smith (Cameron Smith); his grandchildren, Emma, Alyssa and Brooke Smith; his parents, Samuel Sr. Dabbs and Flonnie Dabbs of Alabama; and also Lorel. He was also cherished by one daughter, one son-in-law, and three granddaughters.
