She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Howard Haynie; her parents, John "J. T." Bruce and Ruby Fowler Bruce; and her siblings, Margaret Puckett, Rosette Patton, Reba Braswell and Tommy Lee Bruce.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Haynie Little, Kathy Haynie Kennemore, Yvonne Haynie Wallace (Jackie) and Patricia Haynie Scarborough. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
