He was predeceased by: his parents, Durbin Knisely and Janet Estance Anderson. He is survived by: his stepfather Ralph Ogden Anderson; his wife Barbara Knisely; his children, Kurt Knisely (Karla), Alaini Stamatopoulos (Peter), Kristopher Knisely (Stephanie) and Matthew Knisely (Amy); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Kurt, George, Alexander, Grayce, Kristopher, Nicholas, Evia and Alaini; and his great grandchild Robert.

In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Kurt may be made to St. Philothea Greek Orthodox Church or to the Kurt Knisely Lacrosse Foundation at PO Box 676 Watkinsville, GA 30677.
