It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Sloan of Statham, Georgia, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gutwein and Dorothy Gutwein; her husband Sidney "Stewart" Sloan; and her son Christopher Geiger. She is survived by: her children, Laura G. Kendrick of Statham, Craig Geiger (Sara) of Macon, Cindy Merritt of Statham and Sid Sloan (Brenda) of Watkinsville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
