He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carl, Velma Brooks, Clifford and Lutitia Huff; his great-grandparents, Clarence, Margaret Lovern, Marvin and Pauline Huff; and his aunt Donna Cotner.

He is survived by: his daughter Brynlee Brooks; his parents, Phillip J. Brooks and Deborah Brooks; and his brother Michael Brooks (Tina). He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
