He is survived by: his wife Barbara Emswiler; his daughters, Jennifer Emswiler and Melissa Shelton (James); his granddaughters, Madyson Averi and Haley Nell; his brother Clyde; and his nephews, Calvin Loggins (Annette), Shane McCarty (Jennifer) and Robert McCarty.
