She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Wiley Parker and Azalia Braswell Parker; her husband James T. Cook; her sister Doris Parker Kelley; her brothers-in-law, Bill Kelley and Ross Kelly; and her pet Lady.
She is survived by: her daughter Mindy; her son-in-law Dewayne Skinner; her grandchildren, Paige Wilson (James), Judd Skinner (Callie), Erin Skinner and Ben Skinner; her great grandchildren, Eli Wilson, Emma Grace Wilson, Anderson Skinner, Caroline Wilson and Quinn Skinner; her sister Cherry Parker Kelly; her niece Joy Waters (Floyd); and her children, Dr. John Rathbun, Dr. Thad Riley, Dr. Zach McGalliard and Southern.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eastern Heights Baptist Church (23805 US-80, Statesboro, GA 30461). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
