He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Chapman and Mary Chapman; his wife Caroline Belflower Chapman of Tifton, GA.; and his granddaughter Rachel. He is survived by: his children, Celia Chapman Grimes, Steven Wayne Chapman and Bryan David Chapman; his children-in-law, Doug and Jenny; and his siblings, Bruce Chapman and Vivian Chapman Nandrasy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
