She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cecil and Ollie Mae Alderman Deal; her husband Lesley Lee Nessmith; her grandson Terry Nessmith; her great grandchild Dallas Kirrkland; and her sisters, Shelby Jean Ranew and Joy Drapalik.
She is survived by: her children, Don Nessmith of Brooklet, Tony Nessmith (Debra) of Statesboro, Ronnie Nessmith (Lisa) and Krista Caton of Brooklet; and her brother Edgar Dwain Deal of Statesboro.
