He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Brinson and Mardell Jenkins Brinson; and his former wives, Lydia Sue Brinson and Cora Kay Brinson. He is survived by: his wife Sally S. Brinson of Statesboro; his children, Cyndi Williams (Ronnie), Chris Brinson (Raquel) and William Horne (Angela); his stepsons, Jake Hill and Jud Hill; his grandchildren, Brinson Williams, Wright Brinson, Sophia Horne, Grey Horne, Gena Hill and Thomas Hill; his brother Preston Brinson (Brenda); and his nephew Matthew Brinson.
