He is survived by: his wife Brenda Horton; his children, Ginnie Lee Horton Sherrod (Nic) of Brooklet and Cody Nicholas Horton (Shannon) of Brooklet; his grandchildren, Madison Sherrod of Brooklet, Morgan Sherrod of Brooklet, Brody Sherrod of Brooklet and Vera Horton of Brooklet; and his sisters, Joyce Horton Taylor (Chuck) of Lizella and Sue Horton Langford of McIntyre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
