She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leahmon and Dollie Mae Gill Akins; her son Mark Johnson; her siblings, Betty Neal, Loretta Lust and Gilbert Akins; and her brothers-in-law, Theron Neal and Robert Lust.
She is survived by: her daughter Robbin; her son-in-law Kurt Steiner of Albany, GA; her son Alan; her daughter-in-law Rose Maria Johnson of Glennville, GA; her brother Edwin; her sisters-in-law, Danalyn Akins of Stilson and Glenda Akins; and her grandchildren, Cynthia Cartee of Statesboro, Tara Weatherford (Michael) of College Station, James Beatty (Telisha) of Statesboro, Jessica Smith (Tyler), Rebekah Sammons (Ben) of Brooklet, GA and Phillip Johnson of Statesboro. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
