She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas L. Skinner; her parents, Denver Mallard and Edna Beasley Mallard; and her siblings, Shirley Shaw and James Troy Mallard.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Skinner Hester (William) of Statesboro, Dewayne Skinner (Mindy) of Statesboro, Tony Skinner (Janice) of Statesboro and Travis Skinner of Statesboro; and her sister Merlene Phillips of Statesboro. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-great grandchildren.
