She was predeceased by: her parents, Wadie Williams and Carlton Williams of Bulloch County; her husband O'Dell Scruggs; and her sisters, Frieda Williams (Jack Williams), Kelly Williams, Mary Lee Tyson, Elizabeth McNanara and Gwendolyn Hazellief.
She is survived by: her daughter Belinda Dowd; her granddaughters, Krystina and Jennifer Dowd; her grandson-in-law Alvin Hamilton; her stepchildren, Jennifer Overby and Jimmy Scruggs (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Kendrick Dowd, Jayda Dowd, Prince Dowd and Jordan Cribbs; and her siblings, Charles Williams (Roseann) of Brooklet Ga, James Williams (Juanita) of Hortense, Richard Williams (Blanche) of Okeechobee, FL, Jerry (Debbie) and Joann Brooks (Robert) of Afton, TN.. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren she loved.
