She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pryor and Vivian Mallard Pryor; her husband David McGowan; and her children, Terry McGowan, Perry McGowan and Pamela Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne McGowan Aviles (Julio) of Mandeville, LA, Russ McGowan (Donna) of Canton and Ross (Alaina) of Guyton; her grandchildren, Ellen De La Cruz, Brian McGowan, Raymond Scott, Gwen Mayo, Julie Dukett, Julian Aviles, Daniel Aviles, Vivian McGowan, Noel McGowan, Johnathan McGowan and Meghan McGowan; and her daughter-in-law Diane McGowan. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Pine Street Baptist Church, 118 2nd Ave, Guyton, GA 31312.
