He is survived by: his wife Rosa Marie Parrish Young of Statesboro, GA; his children, Sabrina Young of Statesboro, GA, Kirstan Young of Statesboro, GA and Waymon Sparrow (Shirley) of Statesboro, GA; and his siblings, Sula Mosley of Portal, GA and Semmie Young (Patricia) of Statesboro, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
