He is survived by: his son Jason Michael Whitfield (Andrea) of Statesboro, GA; his sister Shirley Alease Whitfield of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Tanner and Taylor Ruby Whitfield of Statesboro, GA; and his stepchildren, Gwen Cleary (Stevie) of Metter, GA, Sheresa Steptoe (Bobby) of Statesboro, GA, Heidi Rachels (Charles) of Bartow, GA, Calvin DeLoach (Loureena) and Corbett DeLoach (Lorna) of Statesboro, GA.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Deal Funeral Directors (22757 US-80, Statesboro, GA 30461).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Legion.
