She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Howell and Betty Williams Howell. She is survived by: her husband Michael McCarty of Statesboro; her sons, Marcus Mingle (Bridget) of Charleston, SC and Curtis Mingle (Jessica) of Summertown, GA; her grandchildren, Hunter Mingle and Payton Mingle; her stepgrandchildren, Jasper, Tripp and Jack Mingle; and her pets, Lady Bug, Roxie and Layla. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
