He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Galo and Carol A. Galo (Hinkel); and his father-in-law David L. Spencer. He is survived by: his spouse Ashley; his children, Adeline Egan and Spencer Ross; his siblings, Melissa Peters of Virginia, Rebecca Cribbs (David) of Indiana, James Galo (Kim) of Tennessee and Timothy Galo (Patty) of Michigan; his mother-in-law Beth Spencer Hudson (Drone) of Swainsboro; and his brother-in-law Vincent Spencer (Laura) of Braselton, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Statesboro First Baptist Student Mission Trips and Impact Camp.
