Margaret Lucille Shipes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2022, at the age of 86, Margaret Lucille Shipes of Statesboro, Georgia, born in Terre Haute, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Paul Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Betty Ruth Thompson; her friends, Frances, Janice, Dot, Gracie and Betty; her close friend Edwin Collins; her children, Arvilla Norris, Connie Smith, Lori Busy (Norman) and Larry Kline (Jeni); her stepdaughters, Kerry Kimble and Chris Beacham; and her adoptive daughter Stephanie Franklin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and many people who called her "Mom" and "Grandma".
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Eternal Vision Ministries.
