He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Escobar and Rosa Escobar (Dutra). He is survived by: his wife Leonora Escobar (Silva); his children, James S. Escobar (Diana) of Rehoboth, MA and Lisa M. Ponte (David) of Riverside, RI; his grandsons, Devin, Casey Escobar, Dylan, Trevor and Cameron Ponte; his great grandchild Saylor Escobar (Emilia); and his sisters, Maria Laranjo and Conceição Amaral. He is also survived by many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
