She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis Rhodes Gencel and John P. Gencel; her children, David Karl Swinehart, Jr., Mark P. Swinehart (Teresa), Angela T. Swinehart (Troy) and Leonard J. Swinehart; her husband Robert Szrama; her brother John P. Gencel; and her grandchildren, Lindsay McCoy (Casey), Jacob Daughtrey (Sasha), LaNieka Swinehart, John Swinehart and Rhonda Swinehart. She was also cherished by five great grandchildren, numerous nephews, and many caring friends that became her family.
