Linda Pierce Dickerson Obituary

We bid farewell to Linda Pierce Dickerson (Statesboro, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 75. Linda Pierce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her brother John Winton Pierce Jr.; her husband Jimmy Lee Dickerson; her siblings-in-law, Melvin Dickerson, Jean Dickerson, Judy Dickerson and Lynn Dickerson; and her parents, John Winton Pierce and Catherine Taylor Pierce of Sylvania.

She is survived by: her sons, Brett Dickerson (Alyson) and Garett Dickerson; her grandchildren, Wynn and Dylan Dickerson; her sisters, Susan Owings (Steve) and Cathy Pollard (Jeff); and her brother-in-law Harold Dickerson (Brenda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buck Creek Church (2545 Buck Creek Rd, Sylvania, GA 30467). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Buck Creek Church, or the McBride Church cemetery fund, both of Sylvania, Georgia.
