She was predeceased by: her husband James Lannie Ellis; her sons, James Kenneth Ellis and Rodney Ellis; her son-in-law Stan Ballew; her parents, Dewey Smith and Alma Olliff Smith; and her siblings, Faye Hagin, Ann Elizabeth Cook and Andrew Dewy Smith, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Angela Edenfield (Joe), Pamela Ballew and Lannie Kimball Ellis (Shirl); her grandchildren, Lannette Skrine (Scott), Hannah Deal (Tracy), Kenneth Kyle Ellis, Kaitlyn Ellis (Josh), Meredith Edenfield Bridges (Charlie), Joie Edenfield Roach (John), Mary Walker Ballew Gurz (Mike), Mark Ballew (Kaycee), Austin Ballew, Sarah LeVaughn Ballew Daugherty (Ryan), Megan Ellis and Amanda Ellis Johnson (Chris); her great grandchildren, JT Skrine (Shelley), Laina Jordan (Zane), Jimilyn Skrine, Alexis Cone Lee (Eason), Makayla, Colton Cone, Rho, Ellis Bridges, Anderson Leigh, John Brunson (JB), Carolyn Eubanks Roach (Banks), Elijah Gurz, EllaNora, Aurora Riot and Max Ballew; her great great grandchildren, Everly, Jasper Skrine, Asher, Ryder Lee and Mary Catherine Jordon; her brother-in-law Charles Ellis; and also, Patricia Ann Jenkins and Debra Smart. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
