She was predeceased by: her parents, Idell Brannen Deloach and Felix Deloach; her husband John A. Newton; and her son Steve. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Fox (Mike); her grandsons, Sean Fox (Bethany) and Ryan Fox; her great grandchildren, Sienna Fox, Londyn Fox and Carson Fox; and her siblings, Berman Deloach (Dot) and Joyce Davis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church and Ogeechee Area Hospice.
