He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Boyett and Tiny Boyett; his brother Kenny Boyett; and his nephew Andre Goggins. He is survived by: his wife Elise Wrye Boyett; his children, Candice Slade (Will) of Pooler and Candler Boyett of Savannah; his grandson Everette Slade; his sister Patty Karr of Metter; and his siblings-in-law, Gerri Boyett of Waycross, Elaine and Chuck Perkins of Macon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (108 N Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458).
