With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Elizabeth Waters (Statesboro, Georgia), who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Waters and Jewel Akins. She is survived by: her friend Kathy; her husband Steve Waters; her children, Stephen Myers (Holly Myers), Hillary Thompson (Chris Thompson) and Andrew Sparks (Alli Sparks); her stepson Andrew Waters; her grandsons, Brooks Myers and Henry Thompson; and her siblings, Sue Waters (Diane Smith), Kenny Waters (Lisa Waters), Missy Akins-Shuman (Bruce Shuman) and German Shepard (Hershel).
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Deloach Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
