He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Hart, Sr. and Pearl Brundage Hart; his wife Mary Ann Rushing Hart; his daughter Angie Cynkar; his granddaughter Carrie Cynkar; and his siblings, Rex Hart, Ruth Edwards and Alice Hart.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Blissett; his son-in-law Danny Blissett of Statesboro; his son Joseph "Joey" Hart, III of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Jeff Cynkar, Jeremy Cynkar (Kelly) of Gainesville, FL, Joseph "Addison" Hart, IV (Carly Rosborough) of Statesboro, Ashtyn Brown of Statesboro and Jordyn Blissett of Statesboro; his great grandchildren, J. J., Ashli Cynkar, Ava, Layla Brown and Joseph "Jace" Addison Hart; and his sisters, Mary Ross of Statesboro, Evelyn Bird of Portal, Jewell Trunell of Cochran and Carolyn Bryant of Jacksonville.
