He is survived by: his wife Theresa Sumner; his sons, Perry Sumner (Connie) of Statesboro, Georgia and Phil Sumner (Hope) of Statesboro, Georgia; his grandchildren, Michael Sumner (Tara) of Statesboro, Catherine Sumner Findley of Statesboro, Ansley Sumner of Baton Rouge, Louisianna, Lillie Sumner of Statesboro and Maddie Sumner of Statesboro, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Griff Sumner, Brant Sumner, Paxton Sumner, Sam Findley, Everett Findley and Jones Davis; and his sister Joan Sumner Flanders of Guyton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
