He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Braxton Rogers, Sr. and Dorothy Ann Jordan Rogers; his in-laws, William Dempsey "Bill" Tucker and Mary Lee Jones Tucker; and his brother-in-law Wallace "Wally" Muehl.
He is survived by: his friend Glenn Lewis; his wife Rebecca "Becky" Tucker Rogers; his daughter Mary Ann Rogers Lamberth; his son-in-law Ernest "Trey" Lamberth III; his granddaughter Mary Amelia Lamberth; his pet Scout; his siblings, Harry Rogers (Sandy), Ann Rogers Muehl and Bill Rogers (Elizabeth); his sister-in-law Beth Tucker Akins (Bill); and his caregivers, Eva Stephens and Lynn Walden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice.
