He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. "Rob" Conner and Floreid "Floree" Lee Conner; his grandparents, William E. "Willie", Georgia Jones Lee, John L. "Tink" and Mary Lou Conner; and his close friend Gene Peacock.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy E. Conner; his granddaughter Lynn Conner Ranew (Brandon); and also, Alexia Powell, Robert Rogers and Mason Ranew.
