James Randolph Sims Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Randolph Sims (Statesboro, Georgia), who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Lois and S. E. Sims; and his brothers, Dennis Sims and Randy Sims. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Donaldson Sims of Statesboro; his children, Summer Sims of Kennesaw, Nicki Sims of Savannah and Jason Pless of Panama City, Florida; his granddaughters, Alyssa Van Beek of Marietta and Isabella Liles of Panama City, Florida; his sister Armenda; his brother-in-law Gary Barnes of Statesboro; his brother Rex; and his siblings-in-law, Angie Sims of Fort Myers, Florida, Steve (Kelly Donaldson), Annette (Tony Crosby), Cathy Acree of Dallas and Carolyn Sims of Statesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
