He is survived by: his wife Rose Maria Barrs of Bulloch County; his children, Stacey Barrs Holloway (Keith) of Bulloch County and James Brian Barrs of Chatham County; his stepson Christopher Lee Mayes (Blanca) of DeRidder, LA; his sisters, Lavenia Cook (Richard) of Goose Creek, SC and Georgia Kathleen Cauley of Savannah, GA; his nephew Keith Jacob Barrs (Sharon) of Statesboro, GA; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Barrs of Statesboro, Michael Rodriguez, James Brian Barrs, Jr. of Bloomingdale, GA, Brianna, Ethan and Madyson Holloway of Bulloch County. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
