He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his brother Gene Hart; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Fields, Homer Fields and Mel Mock.

He is survived by: his sons, Terry Hart (Diana) and Stevie Hart (Becky); his granddaughter Kayla Hart; his siblings, Ray Hart (Kay), Danny Hart (Tina), Alan Hart (Gail) and Kay Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Hart, Mary Sue Collins (Keith Harvey), Willette Mock, James Collins (Melita), Danny Ray Collins (Debra) and Larry Dean Collins (Betty Jo). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
