He is survived by: his wife Fay Foy Smith Franklin; his daughters, Julie Foy Franklin and Rebecca; his son-in-law Jeff Harris; his grandchildren, Roni Rosales (Rosales), Ava Grace Harris and J. R. Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Beth, Don Comer, Ann, Tom Williams, Paula Smith and Carolyn Franklin.
