He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Matthew Wells, Marguerite Wells, Clyde Loper Sr. and Suenell Loper; and his brother Robert Loper.

He is survived by: his wife Denise Loper; his daughters, Jessica Skarda and Victoria Bryarly; his sons-in-law, Robert Skarda and Matthew Bryarly; his grandchildren, Marguerite, Annabelle, Hailey Grace, James and Josephine; his parents, Darrel Loper and Jane Loper; and his sister Amanda Randall (Neil Randall).

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Old Fellowship Baptist Church (5526 US-80, Brooklet, GA 30415). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
