It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George E. Stewart of Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George E. Stewart to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Stewart and Claudia Stewart; and his brothers, Frank Stewart and Floyd Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Dot" Stewart; his sons, George E. Stewart Jr. of Valdosta and Glenn Stewart (Barbara Stewart) of Reidsville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Justin Stewart (Kate Stewart) of Thomasville and Mallory Jenkins (Ben Jenkins) of Reidsville, Georgia; and his great grandchildren, Magnolia Stewart, Russell Stewart, Rowan Jenkins and Mabry Jenkins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Greg Kearney, Jeff Rucker, Ben Jenkins, Nathan Rucker, Charles Oglesby, and George Pelote, Jr.
