It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred L. Maddox (Statesboro, Georgia), who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred L. Maddox to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander Maddox and Nannie Sue Maddox (Moreland); and his brothers, Rev. Eugene Matthews Maddox, John Moreland Maddox Sr., Notley Glawson Maddox Sr. and Lemuel Maddox.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Maddox (Brooks); his children, Laneah June Maddox of Warner Robins, GA, Lacrecia Ann Maddox of Alexandria, VA and Fred Alexander Maddox (Andrea Michelle Johnson) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandsons, Alexander Brooks Maddox and Robert Sawyer Maddox.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Berry College, Emory University or Statesboro 1st United Methodist Church.
