It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyne Shackelford (Statesboro, Georgia), born in Millen, Georgia, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Burke and Blanche Burke; her husband Leroy Shackelford; her brother Louis Albert Burke; and her grandson Eric Michael Shackelford.

She is survived by: her sons, Bert Shackelford (Crystal) and Louis Shackelford (Candi); her grandchildren, Josh Shackelford, Ricky Shackelford, Chelsea Shackelford, Presley Shackelford, Roy Shackelford, Chandler Shackelford, Christopher Shackelford, Victoria Shackelford, Laci Crutchfield (Charles), Connor and Oliver Crutchfield; and her sister Sandra Black (Roger). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
