He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Coleman and Mae Evelyn Coleman; his wife Luellen Coleman; his daughter Wanda Lynn Coleman; and his siblings, Earnest Smith, Jewel Smith and Patricia Ann Harden.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Coleman-Stovall (Ronnie Stovall), Carolyn Coleman-Hanks (George Hanks IV) and Darris L. Coleman; his siblings, Marie Lane, Cynthia Bostic, Evelyn Pierce, Gladys Campbell (Harry Campbell), Jobie Coleman, John Coleman Sr. (Delilah Coleman), Jimmie Coleman and Larry Smith; and his grandchildren, Monica Fripp, Jessica Lemons, Tashiana Naboulsi and Keanna Stovall.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc., Statesboro Chapel (238 W Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
